Aury Fernandez is a Senior at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying Design and Innovation. He grew up as the eldest of three in the Bronx, New York and aspires to make an impact on his community through his work in product and education design. He favors working with 3d modeling software and prototyping new ideas and products. He currently works with BUILD as a youth advisor, spending time helping create new opportunities for young students of color to be represented in efforts made for the benefit of education. He also spends his time working with Gannett Fleming, supporting construction projects in New York City.
