Meet the people behind AIMS

The AIMS Facilitation Team is made up of researchers and staff from Menlo Education Research (MenloEDU), WestEd, and the National Network of Education Research-Practice Partnerships (NNERPP). This team is responsible for creating and cultivating the AIMS community, including: providing teams with a community liaison; organizing twice-annual AIMS convenings; hosting virtual events throughout the year; and facilitating cross-team supports, including mini-grant proposal reviews.

The Facilitation Team also organizes “field-catalyzing” work aimed at establishing AIMS as a movement in K–12 education, and an external communications strategy that includes sharing AIMS research insights, ed tech products, and publicly available resources in service of improving math education.
