Welcome to the AIMS Collaboratory website. By accessing, viewing, downloading, or otherwise using content, media, or any other products or services, including the underlying proprietary code and technology, owned or operated by the AIMS Collaboratory or its affiliates, subsidiaries, related corporate entities, and authorized partners, (collectively and individually, “AIMS" "we," "us," or "our") through its website, email products or services, or mobile applications (collectively, the "AIMS Technologies"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use (the "Terms") described below and that your use of such AIMS Technologies is at all times subject to these Terms. In some cases, the AIMS content, media, or other products and services (collectively, "AIMS Resources") may be integrated into websites and mobile applications provided by third parties (including social networking sites), and these Terms also apply to your use of AIMS Resources.

If you’re under the age of 18 (or under the age required in your home state or country to consent to use online services), you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the AIMS Technologies and AIMS Resources. Please have your parent or legal guardian read these Terms with you. If you’re a parent or legal guardian, and you allow your child to use AIMS Technologies and AIMS Resources, then these terms apply to you and you understand and agree to be responsible for your child’s activity on the services. Some AIMS Technologies and AIMS Resources may have additional age requirements as described in the terms for those services. Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy is available at http://aimscollaboratory.org/privacy-policy, and we encourage you to carefully review it.

You are subject to any additional posted guidelines, policies, or rules applicable to specific services and features on the AIMS Technologies, which may be posted by us from time to time (the "Guidelines"), and we encourage you to read such Guidelines. All of these Guidelines are part of these Terms and are hereby incorporated by reference. To the extent that any terms of these Terms conflict with any Guidelines, these Terms control.

These Terms (excluding the privacy policy), and any future modifications to such Terms, govern your use of the AIMS Technologies and constitute a legal contract between you and AIMS. You acknowledge the existence of the privacy policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please immediately discontinue using the AIMS Technologies.

1. User-Generated Content

Absent a separate agreement with us, AIMS does not claim any ownership rights to the content created by its users and shared through the AIMS Technologies (including on our social media channels), including content in our blogs or forums ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable right to reproduce, display, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works of, and perform Your Content. We reserve the right to disable the ability of users to share content through the AIMS Technologies and we may also have a third-party provider, including but not limited to LinkedIn, provide a forum on the AIMS Technologies to share Your Content. After posting Your Content, subject to any rights of third-party providers, you continue to retain any ownership rights you have to Your Content and you continue to have the right to use and license Your Content in any way you choose. The Content that you upload to the AIMS Technologies needs to comply with these Terms.
