Ann Ryu Edwards is a Director of Mathematics at WestEd and the Director of the Carnegie Math Pathways Network. Her research has focused in the areas of mathematics cognition, instruction, curriculum, and teacher learning, and she has significant experience in curriculum development, professional development, and the application of networked improvement to education. She brings a strong focus on equity and inclusion in her development and research. She has taught secondary and collegiate mathematics and worked with teachers K-16. She has a B.A. in applied mathematics from Harvard University and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in education in mathematics, science and technology.
