Marianny Solis

Fordham University

Marianny Solis is a current undergraduate student at Fordham University studying Political Science and Economics. At SXSW and the National Forum for Youth’s Investment, Marianny presented alongside other Youth Advisors on how to engage youth in the decision-making process of curricula. Marianny has been a part of the Youth Advisor Panelist since 2021, offering consultation on the role of CRSE in curricula and software tools. Using co-design and co-creating principles to illustrate how to improve education nationwide. Throughout several design sprints, Marianny worked alongside companies like Wonder For Good to understand and practice how Heartwired can help educators understand a student’s Motivation, Engagement, and Persistence around math. Marianny has led past presentations at over three AIMS convenings alongside BUILD, a non-profit organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship in high schools. Her aspirations in the legal field are shown through internships at the Buffalo School of Law, Character and Fitness, and the Appellate Division Courthouse First Department.
