Norma Martinez

Norma Martinez received her BA in psychology from the California State University of Los Angeles. Norma began as a part of BUILD’s Youth Advisory Panel where she had the opportunity to present the progress, research and impact many companies were achieving on math education across different convenings like SXSWEdu and NCTM. Norma’s career experience also includes internships for GSSR and supporting under resourced communities by providing art classes and academic tutoring for K-12 students. Norma has also developed a passion for research and academia and hopes to find her spot in this field as she enters post grad. She believes in inclusion, equity and diversity among all areas in healthcare, education and society to prepare young people to become leaders. Outside of academic and career goals, Norma enjoys spending time reading and creating floral art.
