Norma Martinez is in her fourth year at the California State University of Los Angeles where she is majoring in psychology and hopes to emphasize on research. As her completion with her bachelor's degree approaches, she seeks the work force and grad school with an intent to challenge systems, authority and the set standards. She believes in inclusion, equity and diversity among all areas in healthcare, education and society to prepare young people to become leaders using what the technological world has to offer. She is a part of Builds youth advisory panel and contributes her knowledge and experience to build a better future for underrepresented students. Outside of her academic and career goals, she competes in cross country and track and field and enjoys advocating for better animal care in her community.
