Purpose/Abstract

RPPL Redact is a data privacy toolkit that can be used to de-identify personal information from textual data in CSV files.

Users upload CSV files with any column names, and the system auto-detects text columns that may contain sensitive information.

The tool lets users choose which columns to de-identify and can generate an ID column if the uploaded file does not already have one.

The interface was developed by Learning Data Insights, building on research and development from the Penn Center for Learning Analytics at the University of Pennsylvania and the Research Partnership for Professional Learning.
