What are we building?
We are building Atlas as an AI-enabled instructional layer embedded within high-quality instructional materials, designed to strengthen how formative assessment, feedback, and instructional planning function in daily classroom practice. Atlas integrates standards-aligned assessment items, real-time progress monitoring, and dynamic grouping tools to help teachers identify specific student misconceptions and take targeted instructional action. Standards-aligned insights are immediately actionable because they are built directly into the curriculum workflow.
What are we learning?
We are intentionally pairing product development with structured research and implementation partnerships. Atlas is being developed not only as a classroom-ready tool, but as a scalable, evidence-informed model for integrating AI-based grading, instructional planning, and adaptive feedback into HQIM. We are also learning how professional learning and teacher implementation interact with platform usage and student outcomes. The goal is to improve student academic outcomes while also strengthening teacher effectiveness and optimizing instructional time.
