Purpose/Abstract

Before RPPL’s Coaching Moves Framework, there was no consistent way to describe what coaches actually do in conversations with teachers. While the framework introduced a long-needed common language for coaching practice, many professional learning professionals still lacked a clear pathway for putting that language into action.

This companion tool strengthens the impact of RPPL’s Coaching Moves Framework by supporting broader adoption and creating new opportunities for shared learning, data collection, and research on coaching practice. Together, the framework and this implementation tool move the professional learning field closer to a more coherent, research-based understanding of what effective coaching looks like in practice.
