Purpose/Abstract

RightOn Education reflects on its experience integrating Carnegie Learning’s open-source UpGrade platform into RightOn’s real-time learning environment.

The work surfaced technical requirements and edge cases that were not apparent during the initial software integration, including intermittent connectivity, reconnection behavior, concurrent requests, and query performance. RightOn and Carnegie Learning worked together to test and validate solutions under realistic conditions, supporting improvements to the RightOn experience while generating findings about UpGrade’s performance in a real-world digital learning environment.
