Purpose/Abstract

Education data often exist in silos, making it difficult to generate timely insights that can improve students’ middle school math experiences.

This infographic introduces the Curriculum and Learning Improvement Project (CLIP) Consortium as an innovative data ecosystem designed to combine existing data sources from learning management systems, student information systems, and curriculum providers.

The resource describes CLIP’s development from fall 2021 to fall 2023 and its spring 2024 to summer 2024 pilot phase, which included 3,038 students, 19 middle school teachers, 5 middle school principals, 500 math sections, 652,000 assignments, and 177,000 assessment results.

The data ecosystem is designed to provide real-time insights, link curriculum implementation to achievement outcomes, and support efficient research and evaluation.
