OpenStax End of Year Report — Spring ISD

Over the course of the AY23-24 school year, Rice University conducted 2 experimental intervention studies and 4 observational studies using their digital RAISE curriculum. They found evidence suggesting that adding animations to word problems improved student learning, that teachers that used the curriculum this year improved the number of EOC retesters that approached grade level relative to last year, and that there was no meaningful difference between male and female students in reported motivation to learn math.
